Myriah Mist

Myriah Mist by Vico (a KWPN approved son of Alme Z out of a TB/Gelderlander KWPN dam) out of Chalk Mark xx (Chalk Hill/Vertex/Blue Prince) 75% XX/OX 1994 KWPN-NA Studbook mare. Her rideability & style kept her in the amateur hunter rings (with the help of Regumate– she’s hot!) but her true calling was in the jumper ring thanks to her boldness & heart. No spook, very confident, “pushy” mare. Passed her KWPN Studbook inspection at age 19 in 2013, with a 4 month old colt at side & 3 months in foal with Jet Stream– KWPN requires free jumping! Still sound although benefits from Pentosan & front shoes at age 21. Forward & sensitive, but I trust her to take on trails bareback in a hackamore. Will never be the “quiet lesson horse” type even into her twilight years; she has too much “fire” & “go.”

    TB family 10-a: very closely related through damline to the famed stallion Kris S as well as Mansingh, sire of Holst & Trak Verband approved TB stallion Langata Express. LE is damsire of the super dressage stallion Hohenstaufen & the top jumper stallion Concept Z. Same TB family as the incomparable Laudanum.
Aside from Jet Stream, she produced two colts by Just the Best for a former owner, and Iverson, a 2013 KWPN gelding by Baldev (Namelus R) who was National Top 5 KWPN-NA Hunter Foal and National Champion KWPN-NA Hunter Yearling. His owner, Lindsay Mumm Hajas of Tehachapi, CA, intends to event him.

Nexus – KWPN-NA gelding by Vico. Was competing at 2nd Level dressage with his amateur owner before his untimely passing at age 8
Chase – AHHA gelding by Challenger. Shown to 1.40m with his junior/amateur owner, including Jumper Classics. Still showing 1.20m+ with his owner of 10+ years at age 18.
Check Mark/”Marcus” – AHHA gelding by Challenger. Also competing to 1.40m, just completed a 1.40m Welcome Stake in 2014.
Omega – PHR/Holst cross by Champagne (Chin Chin/xx). Has shown to 1.25m currently a junior jumper to 1.15m with current owner.
Lonesome Dove – AHHA mare by Lennox. Was an amateur hunter but was a little too spicy, has done dressage. Produced a GOV gelding by the eventing stallion Pavoratti.
